GES Responds to Teachers’ Difficulties Accessing Promotion Results

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has assured teachers that decisive measures are being implemented to resolve the technical difficulties currently affecting access to the recently released promotion results.

In an official notice shared across its social media platforms and sighted by GES Headquarters Information, the Service acknowledged that several teachers have encountered challenges while attempting to verify their promotion status through the online portal. The situation has reportedly affected a significant number of staff members seeking updates on their promotion outcomes.

According to management, technical officers are working continuously to rectify the setback and restore normal access to the system. GES emphasised that every necessary effort is being made to address the issue promptly and ensure that affected teachers are able to access their results without further delays.

The challenge has sparked anxiety among many teachers across the country, particularly those awaiting confirmation of their promotion status after participating in the recently conducted promotion exercise. For many staff members within the Service, promotion remains an important aspect of professional growth, career advancement, and progression within the educational sector.

Although the exact cause of the disruption was not disclosed in the statement, GES appealed to teachers to remain calm and exercise patience while technical teams work to stabilise the platform. Management further expressed appreciation to teachers for their cooperation, understanding, and continued confidence in the Service throughout the temporary interruption.

The Service also reiterated its commitment to ensuring a smooth and transparent promotion process for all eligible teachers and assured staff that updates would be communicated once the technical challenges are fully resolved.
