Nursing and Midwifery Training Admissions 2026/2027 Now Open

Applications for admission into Nursing and Midwifery Training Colleges for the 2026/2027 academic year have officially been opened by the Ministry of Health. Interested candidates are invited to apply through the approved online portal for placement into various health training institutions across the country. The admission exercise is open to all qualified applicants who meet the required entry standards.

Application Deadline

The deadline for submission of applications is 5th June, 2026.

▪ Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered

Cost of Application Form

The application voucher (e-voucher) costs GH¢150.00.

It can be purchased from:

▪ Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB)

▪ Agricultural Development Bank (ADB)

Applicants can also complete payment and purchase the voucher online through the official portal.

After payment, applicants receive a PIN and Serial Number, which are required to access the application form.

General Entry Requirements

Applicants must meet the following academic requirements:

▪ Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science

▪ Credit pass in Biology or Chemistry is required

▪ WASSCE candidates must obtain grades from A1 to C6 in relevant subjects

▪ SSSCE candidates must also obtain credit-level passes equivalent to the required standard

Applicants from General Science, Agricultural Science, and Home Economics backgrounds are encouraged to apply if they meet the subject requirements.

It is important to note that applicants with D7 or below will not be considered for admission.
