The Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) has officially commenced admissions for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Admission Requirements 2026/2027
Direct Applicants (WASSCE/SSSCE):
▪ WASSCE: Six passes (A1–C6), including core subjects, aggregate not exceeding 36
▪ SSSCE: Six credits (A–D), including core subjects, aggregate not exceeding 24
Other Categories:
▪ GCE: Passes in two relevant ‘A’ Level subjects plus five ‘O’ Level credits including English and Mathematics
▪ Candidates with older GCE results should apply as mature applicants
▪ TVET: Relevant technical qualifications such as MVT III, MET III, and related certificates
▪ Post-Diploma Applicants
▪ Must hold an HND or equivalent in a relevant field
▪ Placement may be at Level 200 or 300 depending on qualification
Postgraduate Programmes
PhD Requirements:
▪ Research-based Master’s degree in a relevant field
▪ Minimum GPA of 3.0
▪ At least grade ‘B’ in dissertation
General Postgraduate Entry:
▪ Minimum of Second Class Lower in a relevant degree
▪ Interview and/or entrance examination may be required
