University of Education Opens 2026/2027 Admission Applications
The University of Education, Winneba has officially opened applications for admission into its 2026/2027 academic year. The university is inviting qualified candidates to apply for its undergraduate, postgraduate, sandwich, and distance learning programmes.

Admission Requirements
WASSCE/SSSCE Applicants
Applicants must obtain at least six (6) credit passes, ranging from A1 to C6 or A to D. These must include the three core subjects: English Language, Mathematics, and either Integrated Science or Social Studies.
In addition, applicants are required to present three elective subjects that align with their selected programme of study.
Mature Applicants
A mature applicant must be at least 25 years old by 1st August 2026. The applicant is also required to pass a Mature Entrance Examination in English Language, Mathematics, and General Paper.
Post-Diploma Applicants
Applicants must possess a Diploma in Basic Education or a related field from an accredited institution. Relevant certificates and academic transcripts must be provided.
Foreign Applicants
Foreign applicants are required to hold qualifications comparable to the WASSCE. They must also provide evidence of proficiency in the English language.
